Johnny Hoogerland

You can’t forget that moment in the 2011 TDF where Johnny Hoogerland ended up being branded as a cycling hero by thousands of viewers. Today a video was posted onto the UCI youtube channel which featured both Johnny Hoogerland and Laurens Ten Dam asking them about what their feelings are about the crash.

In a recent interview, Hoogerland channel showed his amazing personality. He does not consider himself as a hero like many people see him, since he believes that title should be saved for people who save other peoples lives. His response defined the difference between being a hero, and showing character, something which he has in abundance.—————————————————————————————————–
